CAMPAIGN: #WeekendTakeover with Kanoe Kehano

For all of us Hawai’i locals, we’re very with Hawaiian Airlines as a company. If we don’t personally know someone who works for the locally dominant airlines, we can certainly find a connection by just six degrees of separation; maybe even three. However, not so relatable for everyone across the globe.

 

The goal of this Instagram campaign was to create a personal relationship with Hawaiian Air personnel – highlighting who they are, where they come from, and a little of what they enjoy. #WeekendTakeover would introduce a couple Hawaiian Air flight attendants who could share their favorite things about their home island with the world. Each day over a weekend, a flight attendant would share a local recommendation from a personal perspective.

Aloha! I’m Kanoe Kehano (@kanoe.k) and I’m proud to be a Hawaiian Airlines flight attendant. I live on the island of Maui where I was born and raised – #MauiNoKaOi (meaning: “Maui is the best!” There’s your first Hawaiian language lesson.) There are so many great places to visit, things to do, and food to eat – and where there’s food, there’s drinks 😉 – but some of my favorite things on Maui are enjoying the local businesses and spending time with my family. I’m excited to share a few of these things with you for this #WeekendTakeover.
